Prayer ENGAGE has ended! 7 days of prayer and fasting are over, just like that. What was it like for you? What are some lessons and/or thanksgiving that you have during this 7-day period?
Even though ENGAGE the event is over, ENGAGing God should be far from being over. It’s a lifestyle that all of us are encouraged to adopt.
I would like to keep on praying for my father’s salvation, my disciples, the morals of this nation, and my own future direction.
What are you praying for?
~ some thoughts from zhi zhen ~
With only 2 more days to go, Prayer ENGAGE is coming to an end. How has ENGAGE been for you? What have you learnt from God? What thanksgivings do you have during this period? Come down for the closure this Sunday (6 May) at Foochow Methodist Church, 4pm~5.30pm.
Highlights of the programme:
- Worship
- Pray for other JCs
- Hear stories from one another
…and more!
So what are you waiting for? Come and join us!
Movements Everywhere!
Is there a spiritual movement in your school? What is your vision for your school?
Lights. We all need lights to see. Without lights the world will be in darkness. And that’s what God called us to be – lights that shine so that others might be able to see the truth.
How bright is your light?
Amazing, isn’t it? The power of forgiveness. We too were once objects of wrath and enemies of God, but by His grace, mercy and love He forgave us. What more are we to forgive those who have wronged us, hurt us?
What have you learnt so far?
Confession.
A word that all good Christians know and all good Christians do. Or do we? How many of us confess regularly and are truly committed to not continue in sin?
What is your biggest obstacle to confession? What action steps could you take towards repentance? Who can you be accountable to?
Day 1 of ENGAGE has just passed! What have you learnt about humility today? Feel free to share it here.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
Are you willing to humble yourselves, pray and seek God’s face?
Are you ready to turn from your sinful ways?
Are you standing in the gap to pray for your family, friends, schools and the nations?
Are you ENgaged?
Calling all Christian students to join us and be ENgaged with God.
